What it is

The sky, read as a question —
not an answer.

Most astrology apps tell you what will happen. Æshar doesn't. It takes your exact chart and the sky moving over it, and turns them into something to sit with: a daily reflection, a conversation, a way of noticing where you already are.

No cold-reading. No doom. No pretending the planets decide your life. Just a considered voice, calibrated to you, that helps you think.

Two languages, one mirror

It reads you two ways at once.

Most apps speak one dialect of the self. Æshar holds both — and lets them agree, or disagree, in the same reading.

The sky

Your exact birth chart — every planet where it sat the moment you were born — met by today's live transits. Rendered as a living wheel, explained placement by placement.

Your numbers

Pythagorean numerology drawn from your birth date and name — Life Path, Expression, Personal Year — read as a co-equal language, not a novelty. Computed on-device; your name never leaves it.

The Pulse

A reading written each morning
for one person. You.

Not your sun sign — your whole chart, met by today's exact sky. Written in felt language, never jargon. It doesn't tell you what Mercury is doing; it tells you what you're carrying, and why today holds it.

"Your pace is not rebellion — it is the only honest measure of what you're actually building."

Æshar's daily Pulse — a personal reading with sun, moon, and transit cardsThe Pulse

Ask Æshar

A conversation that knows
where you left off.

Talk about what's actually on your mind. Æshar answers from your chart and the transits ahead — reflective, grounded, honest about what it can and can't say. And it remembers: today's conversation stands on yesterday's.

Not sure where to begin? It opens each day with a short reflection on where you are right now, and offers a few questions drawn from your own chart to start from.

A real conversation with Æshar that remembers earlier contextAsk Æshar

The Arc

It holds what you said
two weeks ago.

While other apps reset every midnight, Æshar watches a question take shape across days — the themes that keep returning — and hands them back when they're ready to be seen. The memory lives encrypted on your device, and it's the heart of the deepest tier.

"You have spent this stretch caught between the weight of earning and the lightness of allowing."

Milestones

The practice, remembered —
not counted.

Æshar doesn't tally a streak. When you keep returning, it marks the moment with a short written reflection on what the practice has actually been holding for you — resistance, clarity, a question you keep circling — and gives you a card worth keeping.

Your chart

The chart you were born under.
The sky moving over it now.

It opens on your cosmic identity — Sun, Moon, and Rising — and renders a constellation that belongs to no one else. Below it, one living wheel you can read top to bottom: every placement, house, and aspect, explained in language built for how it actually feels to carry. Toggle it between your fixed Natal chart, the live Sky Now transits, and the professional Purist view.

Add-on

Your numbers,
read as a second language.

The other half of the mirror. Pythagorean numerology drawn from your birth date and name — and it doesn't sit in a separate tab; it quietly informs everything Æshar says.

  • Core Numbers — Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge, Personality.
  • Personal Year, Month & Day — where you sit in the cycle right now.
  • Master Numbers — 11, 22, 33 preserved, never flattened.

Computed on your device. Your name is turned into numbers and never leaves your phone.

Numerology — your core numbers and personal cyclesNumerology

The living sky

An app that moves
with your sky.

Æshar reads the sun's real altitude where you are — not the clock — and its whole world shifts through the day: dawn rose, midday cyan, dusk ember, deep-night jade. The same screen, four skies.

Æshar at dawn — plum and roseMorning
Æshar at midday — blue and cyanAfternoon
Æshar at dusk — magenta and emberEvening
Æshar at night — indigo and jadeNight

Live transits

Not just where the sky is —
how it lands on you.

Tap any planet moving through your chart and Æshar opens a live reading of that exact contact: what it's touching in your natal chart right now, what it tends to stir, and how long it lasts. The transit is real and current; the meaning is yours alone.

"Mars is crossing your tenth house — the part of you the world watches. Ambition stops being private this week."

Patterns

The tensions you carry,
named without jargon.

Your chart holds standing relationships between its parts — some that come naturally, some that grind. Æshar reads them as lived experience, not textbook terms.

Patterns — a standing tension between two placementsPatterns

Resonance

The people in your orbit,
literally.

Everyone who matters takes their place as a world orbiting yours, each drawn from both charts at once — the closer the orbit, the stronger the natural resonance. Not a compatibility percentage. A real reading of what happens when two exact charts meet.

  • The Gift & The Challenge — what flows between you, and what asks for work.
  • Synastry — every contact between your two charts, planet to planet.
  • The Composite — the chart of the relationship itself: its own Sun, Moon, and purpose.
  • The numbers between you — Life Path and Personal Year, side by side.

The bond itself

Read the relationship,
not the scoreboard.

Open any bond for its Gift and its Challenge in full, overlay both charts as a synastry bi-wheel, or cast the composite — the single chart the two of you make together. It reads the dynamic the way it's actually lived.

Unfolding

The week. The month.
The year — held.

Most apps reset daily and forget. Æshar holds the longer arcs too: a weekly texture, a monthly current, and a whole year — read in full, never summarized. And on Vigil, it maps the slow turning points a lifetime is actually made of.

Life Chapters
Your life in long movements, drawn along the slow cycles of Saturn and the progressed Sun.
The Thresholds
The crossings everyone meets — Saturn Return, Chiron Return, the midlife wake-up — named as they arrive.
The Turning
The chart of your coming year, cast from the moment the Sun returns to where it sat at your birth.
The Calling
The work that feels most yours, read from your North Node. A bearing, not a fate.
The Direction
The pull of your nodal axis — what this life is moving toward, and what it's here to release.

Privacy as architecture

Your chart never leaves
your device.

Æshar is one of the very few astrology apps that doesn't want your data. It was built that way from the first line of code.

  • No account, ever. No email, no password, no sign-up.
  • No tracking. Zero analytics, advertising, or crash SDKs — none.
  • Your birth data never leaves your device. Your date, time, and place build your chart on your phone, and only there.
  • Your name is never transmitted. Numerology is computed on-device; only the derived numbers are ever used.
  • Your conversations stay encrypted on your phone — never uploaded to us.

And when you want a copy of it all, export an encrypted Archive — your whole profile sealed behind a passphrase only you know. We can't open it, and we can't recover it. Restore it on any device, anytime.

Made with care

Built by one person,
beneath a northern sky.

Æshar is independent — made in Edmonton, not on a venture treadmill. Every reading, animation, and quiet detail is shaped by hand, because a mirror only works if you trust who's holding it. No investors deciding what to do with your data. Just a considered tool, built to last.

It shows in the small things: tab icons that come alive as you move between them, a birth constellation drawn for you and no one else, a sky that shifts with the hour, a voice that reads to you on device. Made because they should exist — not because they scale.

Questions

Before you sign up.

Is this fortune-telling?

No. Æshar never predicts your future or tells you what to do. It reads your chart and the sky as reflection — a way to notice what you're already carrying. Astrology here is for insight, not instruction.

What happens to my birth data?

It never leaves your device. Your date, time, and place are used on your phone to build your chart and nothing more — no account, no upload, no server copy. Your name, used for numerology, is turned into numbers on-device and never transmitted.

What are the two languages?

The sky — your exact astrological birth chart met by live transits — and your numbers — Pythagorean numerology from your birth date and name. Æshar reads both as co-equal, and lets them speak to each other in the same reflection.

What do the tiers mean?

Glimpse is free forever — your daily Pulse, full chart, and a taste of everything. Gaze adds transits, forecasts, and a week of memory. Vigil opens the whole year: The Arc's long memory, yearly arcs, and the professional chart. The same voice throughout — just more room to see.

Can I cancel?

Anytime — from Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Your readings and history stay on your device either way.

The sky, remembered.
